As information technology gets more powerful, the job of the support person gets more complicated. With more and more systems and technologies to understand, even the most capable techie needs a hand every now and again.
If you are a large company with a complex infrastructure, a fresh pair of eyes can often see what is needed to refresh a tired network.
If you are a small company that knows they can do more with technology but do not know how. Why not see what I can offer and if I can help.
I am a specialist in Citrix, but I also deal with all aspects of IT from structured cabling to configuring an international network, For example, I can manage your multiple Exchange server infrastructure, configure an off-site data store using DFS, build a remote access system using Citrix Access Gateway, Web Interface and Presentation Server (XenApp), add some new memory to your PC and fix why your email doesn't open word documents.
I live in Southend-on-Sea in Essex but also work predominantly in London, the City, and the West End. However my career has sent me to customers all over the United Kingdom and abroad.
One of my current projects is to evaluate XenServer 5.5 by implementing it internally at TigerRidge. Follow the < XenServer > link to see what we are doing and what I have found so far.
I've been meaning to start developing for a while now. Here's my first finished (but always refining) project using PHP, an IP Subnet Calculator < here >.
Follow the < Latest > link to see the solutions to the problems that I've faced recently.
Take a look at one of my PHP projects (challenges): STATUS <Information> <Demo>
It's a simple network status page. A script is run to ping hosts on a port to see if the service is alive or dead. The script updates a database which the web page displays. Hosts can be added, edited or deleted from the web page. The status title can be changed and two administrative links configured. The configuration is all held in the database too. I am learning PHP so by no way is this perfect or by any means the finished article.
